We’ve welded intricate components for many military and civilian aircrafts as well as communication satellites and spacecraft for NASA. Some of these aerospace welding projects include the Cassini Mission’s Titan-Huygens Probe, and sensors on the Mars Curiosity rover’s drilling arm that help to control maneuvers of the robot as it retrieves sediment from the plant’s surface for analysis. These are all high-level projects where precision and weld integrity are of the utmost importance.

We are proud to call ourselves one of only a handful of precision welding job shops to achieve the AS9100D with ISO 9001:2015 distinction. Aerospace component Welding After a rigorous evaluation process conducted by NSF International AS9100D with ISO 9001:2015 adds quality assurance expectations for design, development and production work that apply specifically to the aviation, space and defense sectors. Issued by Americas Aerospace Quality Standards Committee (AAQSC), this certification demonstrates proficiency within the particular sectors that EBE has serviced for more than two decades.

Additionally, EBE is registered with the Department of Defense and is compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements. Our electron beam welding operators are certified to the American Welding Society standard AWS D17.1, and we are Nadcap AS7003 Welding Accredited for electron beam welding.
